Chippenham-based charity Fun4All, which aims to give all Wiltshire Carers and those they Care for a break, continued their 2014 programme of events with a visit to Old Sarum Airfield , near Amesbury. 20 guests enjoyed an interesting presentation about the history of the Boscombe Down Aviation Collection and then sat down to an impressive buffet lunch. They then toured the museum where they exhibits are not roped off, but available to touch and climb over. They could sit in the aircraft, try their hand in the flight simulator and view the exhibits close up, with helpful volunteers on hand to answer any questions. All the guests found the afternoon stimulating and a break from their routine, which is so vital, and the cost per head was just £3, incredible value.
